Honoring diversity champions
Diversity is critical to the process of discovery at the University of Chicago, where different viewpoints, perspectives, and experiences are not only sought after, but encouraged. The Diversity Leadership Awards honor University faculty, staff, students, and alumni who show leadership in advancing the university’s commitment to diversity of thought, perspective, and experience. The awards also recognize programs or initiatives led by academic or non-academic units that seek to further advance the university’s commitment.
How do I nominate?
Nominations for the Diversity Leadership Awards are closed at this time.
Who is eligible?
All University of Chicago/University of Chicago Medicine faculty and staff members and students and alumni of the College, graduate divisions, and professional schools are eligible. A new category encourages academic and non-academic units to nominate a program or initiative that aligns with the spirit of the Diversity Leadership Awards. Including the new category allows the University to recognize collective efforts within or across units, and we expect to receive a wide range of nominations.
Who may nominate?
We welcome all nominations, including self-nominations.
