This session, titled Centering Black Lives in Chicago's Archives, will feature Marcia Walker-McWilliams, a public historian and the Executive Director of the Black Metropolis Research Consortium (BMRC), a Chicago-based membership association of libraries, universities, museums, and cultural heritage organizations founded at the University of Chicago in 2006.
