Join the Slavery and Visual Culture (SLAVICULT) Working Group for a faculty workshop led by Brodwyn Fischer, Professor of Latin American History and Director of the Center for Latin American Studies. Fischer's essay, Intimate Inequalities: Urban History and the Afterlives of Slavery in Recife, Brazil, will be discussed. A copy of the essay will be shared with registered attendees prior to the event.
