Join the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs (OMSA) for its Spring Heritage Series featuring author Charles Yu. Yu is the author of four books, including Interior Chinatown (winner of the 2020 National Book Award for fiction) and the novel How to Live Safely in a Science Fictional Universe (a New York Times Notable Book and a Time magazine best book of the year). Yu will participate in a conversation about the 2020 - 2021 OMSA Heritage Series theme of imagining new worlds through fiction and the impact of fiction on social justice movements, as well as a conversation on his most recent novel.
