May. 28
2:00–5:00 pm
William Eckhardt Research Center, Room 161 (5640 S. Ellis Ave.)
Workshop: 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.
Facilitator Training: 4:00 - 5:00 p.m.
This workshop is the second in the Inclusion Workshop series and provides practical approaches to help people learn from and appreciate each other’s differences.
The UChicago Inclusion Workshop series aims to create a more inclusive campus climate. These workshops were developed by the Second Science Project, which was founded at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business in collaboration with the Second City. The workshops combine behavioral science with improvisational practice to cultivate insights and interpersonal skills central to understanding and relating to one another across dimensions of diversity.
For those interested in becoming workshop facilitators, you are invited to stay on to learn the facilitation techniques needed to lead this session. If only attending the training, you must have attended an Inclusion in Practice workshop in the past year to participate.
This workshop is open University of Chicago academics, staff, and students.
