Join the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs (OMSA) for an installment in the Faculty of Color Speaker Series featuring Danielle Roper, Neubauer Family Assistant Professor in the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures. Roper's work engages racial performance and queerness in contemporary Latin America and the Caribbean. She is currently writing a book titled Hemispheric Blackface: Impersonation and Racial Formation in the Americas. Roper is originally from Kingston, Jamaica. Lunch will be provided at this event.
