Diversity Dialogues are monthly lunch-and-learn sessions designed to bring together individuals from across the University to learn about and act upon issues related to diversity and inclusion. This session will feature Charnessa Warren, Director of Student Disability Services. Warren will present on the topic Inclusive Designing with Disability in Mind. Her presentation will outline various disability models and explain how they relate to inclusion and accommodation practices. Warren will also share the fundamental principles of universal design and demonstrate ways to create content and environments that are usable by individuals with disabilities.

Disability accommodations are part of the University's Diversity & Inclusion Initiative and reflect UChicago's commitment to ensuring that all people have access to the resources needed to fully participate in the life of the campus.

Lunch will be provided at this event. Space is extremely limited and will fill quickly, so please RSVP now. For more information, please contact Sarah Willis at swillis80@uchicago.edu.
