Building a network of support
Offered through the Faculty Development Program, the University’s Academic Networks connect academics to one another in informal settings to share resources, stories, and support across schools and divisions. Each academic network focuses on the experiences of a particular academic group.
Currently there are four Academic Networks:
- New Academics Network
- Academic Women’s Network
- Academics of Color Network
- Academics with Children Network
Each provides opportunities to socialize with colleagues and connect to valuable resources on and off campus, with the ultimate goal of creating connections and promoting opportunities for faculty to discuss shared interests and concerns.
