Join the Department of Astronomy and Astrophysics' EDI Community Engagement Working Group for Community Conversation: A Brief History of Gentrification, a lunchtime talk with Jacqueline "Jackie" Serrato. Jackie is a “barrio journalist” and editor-in-chief of the South Side Weekly newspaper. She manages Spanish translation at the Sun-Times and writes a column for The Chicago Reporter. Her work has also appeared in Hoy/Tribune, WTTW, BlockClub, and WBEZ.
